Job Purpose

The Regional Sales Director will lead and drive sales growth for commercial office furniture across the Nordic region. This senior leadership role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and overseeing a team of sales professionals to expand our market presence and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue and market share in the Nordic office furniture sector
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Lead high-value contract negotiations with major corporate clients, dealers, and design professionals
  • Ensure the achievement of regional sales targets, profitability goals, and KPIs

 

Account & Relationship Management

 

  • Build and strengthen relationships with dealers, workspace consultants,  architects, designers, and end-users
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Develop long-term partnerships and large-scale workspace projects
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Team Leadership & Development

 

  • Lead, mentor, and support an experienced team of regional sales managers and a sales agent to develop and successfully implement their sales plans in order amaze our customers and outperform the market
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance management to develop a high-performing sales team
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation

Market Expansion & Competitor Positioning

 

  • Conduct  in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and competitive activities.
  • Position the company as a market leader in commercial office furniture by leveraging product innovation and sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to enhance brand awareness and positioning in the Nordic office furniture sector
  • Represent the Company at industry events, trade shows, and networking  opportunities to promote the brand.

Product & Sales Support

  • Provide expert knowledge on our office furniture range, including ergonomic solutions and workspace innovations
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on local market preferences
  • Ensure smooth delivery and installation of projects, working with logistics and customer service teams.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans for the region
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline management, and revenue growth using CRM systems
  • Work closely with product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Skills and experience required 

  • Proven experience as a Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager in the commercial office furniture industry.
  • Strong network of key decision-makers within the Nordic region (dealers, architects, designers, and corporate clients)
  • Exceptional strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire a high-performance sales team.
  • Ability to negotiate complex sales deals and manage long-term relationships
  • Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish)
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the Nordic region
  • Experience working with premium office furniture brands or workspace solutions providers
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools is desirable
  • Knowledge of ergonomics, workplace design trends, and sustainability in office furniture would be an advantage
